Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology officially released the 2024 Jiangsu Provincial Green Manufacturing List. After a rigorous process including independent enterprise application, municipal recommendation, provincial formal review, expert evaluation, thematic deliberation, and public announcement, Shanghai Abm Rock Wool Dafeng Co., Ltd.(ABM®, the production base of UPuper®rockwool growing media, here in after referred to as "ABM") was honored with the title of "Jiangsu Provincial Green Factory" for its outstanding performance in green development.

A "Green Factory" refers to a manufacturing facility that achieves advanced levels in land use intensification, raw material harmlessness, production cleanliness, waste resource utilization, and energy low-carbonization.

In recent years, ABM has continuously increased its environmental protection investments, constructing and improving multiple eco-friendly facilities: all raw materials are now stored in warehouses; advanced systems such as cupola tail gas treatment, wet desulfurization, WEP flue gas odor control, dust collection, electric furnace tail gas treatment, and drying kiln dust collection have been installed to ensure emissions consistently outperform national and local standards; the entire production process achieves "zero" discharge of solid and liquid waste; and photovoltaic roofs have been added to utilize clean energy in production.
