Recently, UPuper® announced a major packaging upgrade for their CB series rock wool growing cubes, aimed at meeting the automation needs of modern vegetable seedling factories and large high-tech greenhouses. With the continuous advancement of agricultural technology, fully automated planting systems have rapidly become popular around the world. However, UPuper®'s existing rock wool cubes packaging method can no longer meet this highly automated demand.

"In response to this customer demand, the company responded quickly. We investigated different packaging methods and tested different pallet sizes, and finally found the best whole pallet packaging method that is suitable for conventional automated seedling machinery on the market." said the head of UPuper®'s product production and technology department.

At present, UPuper® has realized two packaging methods for customers with different needs to choose from.

The original traditional carton packaging.

The CB series rock wool blocks use paper tape to stick the rock wool blocks into strips and package them in cartons. This method can meet the needs of using tidal seedling beds for seedlings of tomato climbing vegetables. The rock wool blocks are stuck into strips for workers to take, and after soaking, it is also easy to separate the growth blocks for seedling transplanting and other operations.

Automation-adaptable packaging.

In response to the growing demand for automated production, UPuper® has launched a tray packaging method that does not require paper tape adhesion and is only separated by cardboard layers. This design perfectly matches the operating characteristics of automated machines, allowing the growth blocks to be easily grabbed by automated equipment and carried out subsequent processes such as soaking in water and transplanting, greatly improving the automation level and overall efficiency of the production line.
